Gallery 796 Ric Flair vs Magnum TA
	Ric Flair is giving one of his famous cocky interviews, wearing one if his gorgeous, fancy robes.  You can see more of Flair's awesome robes in Gallery 647.
	Suddenly young Magnum TA has heard enough of the Champ's arrogance.  He offers Flair $1,000 if he can get in the ring and beat him.
	The Nature Boy is amused by this bold rookie and his $1,000 offer.  Flair made a whole career out of feuding with every hot young wrestler who the fans fell in love with, and Magnum TA was no exception.
	This famous encounter is known as the "TBS Money Match". The temperature in the arena rises 10 degrees, and there are brown-outs in some cities as everyone turns on their VCRs at one time.
Magnum hits the ring and waits for the champ to strip off his robe and climb in with him.  Magnum's hairy chest is heaving as anger and intensity burns in his eyes.
The fans sure loved Magnum TA.  He was sort of a white trash hero, simple and rough compared to Flair's arrogance and flamboyance.  To see plenty more of Magnum, check out Gallery 415.
At last the champ enters the ring in his red trunks for this surprise match.  The fans are about ready to blow the roof off, since most weeks they only get to see Flair kick some jobber's ass.
	Both of these intense wrestlers knew how to work the crowd, how to built drama before the match, until the fans were about ready to riot.
	The match begins and Flair quickly takes control of the rookie, using his famous chops to the chest to knock the wind out of him. WHOOOO!!!
	During this entire match, Flair pulls Magnum's hair numerous times, dragging and whipping him around by that long curly mane.  It's the little touches like this that make Flair one of the best heels of all time.
Soon Magnum is dazed, sprawled out on the mat in his black speedo.  Flair uses another trade-mark move, where he bounces off the ropes, jumps about 8 feet in the air, then crashes his knee down on the stunned victim's forehead.  OUCH!
Again Flair yanks his boy toy up by the hair.  The gimmick in this match is the eager young rookie getting a wrestling lesson from the seasoned veteran.  The Champ is going to teach this kid some respect!
Flair is one beefy blond stud.  He continues to torture the rookie with repeated elbows and kicks, dragging him around the ring by the hair the entire time.
Flair tries for a pin, lifting one of the rookie's legs.  The fans scream in rage, which encourages their hero to kick out on "Two."

	Flair slaps on one of the hottest Ab Stretches in wrestling history, using the ropes for leverage as Magnum TA sells the pain.  Oh GOD!  The agony!
	As usual, the Champ gets away with bending the rules, yanking on the top rope which causes poor Magnum to howl like a trapped animal.
	Magnum is about ready to surrender to the champ, but again the fans rally behind him and give him the energy to escape this deadly lock.
Magnum has had enough punishment from the cocky Nature Boy.  He is determined to gain control of this match and make the champ suffer.
Flair backs into the corner, begging Magnum to cool down.  This submissive pose is another tactic Flair used to put over his opponents, and it was always fun to watch him beg for mercy.
But Magnum is in a wild rage, like a blood-thirsty beast.  He grits his teeth and prepares to tear the Nature Boy limb from limb.
Flair drops to his knees before the stud, pleading with Magnum for mercy.  Flair was always willing to cry like a helpless bitch if it kept the fans interested and excited.
But Magnum isn't willing to back down.  He continues to seeth with rage.  I wonder if it's cold in the arena tonight.
Now it's Magnum's turn to grip his opponent by the hair and pound him in the face a few times. Flair doesn't even defend himself against this over-heated animal.
	Check out this pose of submission as Flair looks up at the stud standing over him.  Their eyes meet and both men understand who is boss.
	Flair grabs the other man's waist-band and pulls him in closer, pressing his face into Magnum's crotch as Magnum grips his hair.  What exactly are these men doing here???
Flair drags the blond cowboy over to the ropes by the hair, and snaps his neck down across the top rope.  Is the Nature Boy trying to de-capitate this poor rookie?
Magnum is dazed after having his throat snapped over the ropes.  Flair scrambles back into the ring, eager to lock up with this hairy cowboy again.
	Flair goes air-born again, sailing across the ring and dropping a throat-crushing elbow on the victim's neck.  Nobody looks prettier delivering punishment than the great Ric Flair!
	Seeing his pals, Arn and Ole Anderson, at ringside, Flair begins working on the arm, just like they taught him.  The Andersons yell "Punish him, punish him!" to their friend.
	Magnum struggles to his knees, so Flair bitch slaps him a few times.  This puts a sour expression on the rookie's face, but it just makes the sadistic Nature Boy laugh.
	I wonder if Magnum regrets challenging Flair, since Flair has been owning him almost the entire match.  Magnum wants to punch the Champ, but he knows he'll lose that arm if he tries it.
The rookie shocks the wrestling world by suddenly applying a Figure 4 Leglock.  This is Flair's own hold, being used against him!
As the Master of the Figure 4, Ric Flair broke many opponents' legs, as you can see in Gallery 57 and Gallery 485.  But now he really sells the agony as he feels the effects of his own signature hold.
The time limit expires as Flair struggles to escape this arrogant rookie's painful Figure 4.  Since Flair was unable to defeat Magnum TA, he will not win the $1,000, plus his pride has been damaged.
Flair begins howling in agony and whipping his long hair around, as Magnum begins bumping and grinding.  Is the Nature Boy actually going to be forced to submit to his own hold!??
	But Flair's two friends, the Andersons, have seen enough.  They storm into the ring and attack poor Magnum.  Hey, now this is three against one!
	The Horsemen continue to punish the rookie, determined to teach him a lesson in respect.  Meanwhile, the screaming fans are about ready to burn down the arena.
	The bell is ringing over and over as the cheaters continue to punish the young blue-collar hero.  This bullying is typical of the cruel Horsemen!
	Finally the Sawyers, Brett and Buzz, rescue the beaten man and chase away the Horsemen.  Wow, that was an intense few minutes of action, no wonder this encounter is burned into the memory of many wrestling fans!
Flair meanwhile, feeling humiliated by the rookie, grabs the announcer by the collar and screams in his face.  The announcer, meanwhile, can barely keep from laughing in Flair's face.
Covered in sweat and burning with rage, Flair wants another piece of Magnum TA.  Don't worry, this red-hot feud is far from over, and these two men will clash dozens of more times.
