Gallery 523 Attack of the Vampire Bats After Brian Kendrick, the cute blond also known as "Spanky", left the WWE, he wrestled in Japan.  Here he is in Tag Team action from the Land of the Rising Sun. Spanky and his partner, Kaz Hayashi, stroll to the ring in matching t-shirts. Their entrance music is the theme song from Titanic since the Japanese fans think Spanky looks like Leonardo DiCaprio. Spanky climbs to the top rope and strips off his shirt. It's hard to believe that this skinny little dude can survive in the brutal world of Pro Wrestling!   As usual, Spanky re-enacts the scene from Titanic where Leonardo DiCaprio stands on the front rail and screams "I'm the king of the world!" I guess there is a little resemblance between Leonardo on the left and Spanky on the right.  I guess if you are Japanese, all blond American pretty-boys basically look alike. Leonardo DiCaprio Brian "Spanky" Kendrick The opponents enter the arena in matching purple masks with black bats on the front.  I'm not sure what their Tag Team is called since I don't speak Japanese, so I will call them the "Vampire Bats." The Vampire Bats hold their hands up like claws, showing the fans that they are willing to scratch and claw like animals in order to win a match.  Can anyone translate that mumbo-jumbo at the bottom of the screen for us? Brian Kendrick looks a bit concerned as he watches these mysterious masked men climb into the ring.  Maybe he has heard that they like to bite and scratch. Again the vicious Vampire Bats show their claws to their opponents in this bizarre pose.  Are they threatening to scratch out the other team's eyes? Kendrick and Hayashi debate who will wrestle first against these ruthless Vampire Bats.  Finally Kendrick agrees to take the beating. The cute boys offer their hands in a nice display of sportsmanship.  They are such innocent and honest competitors, I hope they win the match! OOOF!  The evil Vampires repay their peace offering with two brutal kicks to the lower belly!  That is so cruel, these boys just wanted to be friendly! As I predicted, Vampire Bat #1 attacks poor Spanky's eyes, digging in his claws to blind the poor wrestler in pink. Poor Spanky is blinded, he can't defend himself! Now both Vampire Bats are in the ring so they can work together to punish their shirtless boy-toy. Oh no, they both dig their claws into Spanky's shoulder flesh, paralyzing him by digging into his muscles!  They ignore the ref as he tells one Bat to get out of the ring. Come on ref, they can't scratch like that! Spanky struggles to his feet as the cheaters continue to claw his back muscles.  Are they torturing him, or giving him an Oriental Massage? Why doesn't the ref disqualify these nasty cheaters?  Is the ref bending the rules to help his fellow Japs beat up the poor American kid??  They continue to dig into poor Spanky's back muscles like hungry rodents. Now I know why these masked men decided to wrestle wearing jackets.  This prevents their opponents from scratching them in revenge.  Poor Spanky's body is naked and exposed, allowing them to dig into his flesh. As Spanky reaches the corner, the ref at last convinces the cheaters to stop ripping the meat off his bones!  Poor Spanky is in agony!  He never suffered illegal tactics like this in the U.S. of A.! . Spanky is on his knees, helpless as Bat #2 moves in for more torture.  He looks so vulnerable with his lean boyish physique and pink trunks. After trapping Spanky in the corner, the Bat leans in and bites his neck!  This is horrible, Kaz Hyashi can't believe the ruthless punishment these animals are inflicting on his cute partner! The Vampire Bat continues to bite and chew young Kendrick's neck, slowly weakening him as the ref tries to peel this hungry beast off the helpless blond dude. Spanky should not have gone to Japan if this is how they treat blond pretty-boys there!  He can't defend himself from the Vampire Bat, who continues to suck his strength by biting into his neck. At last the Bat releases his jaws and wipes his mouth.  He seemed to like the taste, so I think he will be back to feast on this blond cutie some more. Poor Spanky collapses on the mat, weakened by the Vampire's deadly bite.  I think these mysterious masked men know how to paralyze a man using nerve holds! Once again, the ruthless Bat dives in and sinks his teeth into Kendrick's throat.  They almost look like lovers as poor Kendrick struggles with the relentless beast. The ref must have been on a tea break or something, but he is back now, trying to separate the hungry Bat from his helpless prey.  This biting should not be permitted! Spanky groans in pain and clutches his throat, trying to overcome the agony of being bitten on the neck. Are ruthless, degrading tactics like this common in the Japanese pro wrestling ring?? The other Vampire Bat tags in and places the limp and helpless pretty-boy on the corner post.  Poor Spanky is barely moving at this point, drained by those repeated Vampire bites to the neck. Oh no, now this Bat dives in and sinks his teeth into the poor kid's neck muscles.  This is out of control, they need to muzzle these nasty biters! Kendrick howls in agony and slaps his opponent as the Bat tightens his jaws on the sensitive nerves at the base of his neck. The Vampire Bat scissors Spanky's neck and flips backwards to send the blond cutie sailing across the ring. The Bat drags Spanky's carcass to the middle of the ring so the other Bat can dive down on the whipped boy and try to pin him.  Kaz Hayashi rushes in and prevents the pin by kicking the opponent in the head. I guess these Vampire Bats are allowed to double-team their competition.  The ref says nothing as one Bat holds the pretty-boy so the other can karate chop him. Working together, they hoist Spanky's limp body onto their shoulders, then whip him down, spiking his face into the mat. This kid is really hurt now.  He has been brutalized non-stop by these vicious masked men since the bell rang! This kid is nearly out cold, a totally beaten boy. One of the Vampire Bats tries for a pin, lifting Spanky's leg.  The brave young stud kicks out!  He may be small in stature, but he sure has a giant heart! The Bats lock Spanky in the "Tree of Woe", hanging him upside down so they can whip his partner into him to smash him. Hayashi is able to whip one of the Bats into the corner instead, and Spanky sits up at the last second, so the evil Bat crashes his nuts into the corner post! Hayashi picks up the other Bat near the corner.  In an amazing athletic move, Spanky back-flips off the corner ropes, grabs the Bat's head while sailing over the top, and smashes his skull into the mat. Spanky dives on top the dazed Bat and the ref counts to three! What a great victory for this young star!  He again strikes the "King of the World" pose as the fans howl for the American pretty-boy. The ref raises the arms of the winners as the Japanese fans furiously snap photos of the young victors. Kaz and Brian embrace.  Both are happy they have won the match and survived the brutal assault of the dreaded Vampire Bats! OK this hugging has gone on long enough.  The two better seperate or the fans will start rumors about them. Will young Spanky continue to win matches and avoid injury despite his small size? Will he ever return to the United States so the American fans can see more of him in action?? Stay tuned....
