Flair's Figure 4's






Without a doubt, Ric Flair is the Master of this hot hold, and has slapped it on almost every wrestling superstar of the past 30 years.  Here, Ricky Steamboat, one of Flair's deadliest rivals, reverses the Figure 4.

In this Tag Team match, Flair slaps it on Shelton Benjamin, while Flair's partner Triple-H watches the action.  Shelton's partner Chris Benoit is in the far corner, clapping and shouting encouragement.
Benoit is going crazy in the corner, like a caged animal.  He wants to assist his helpless young partner, but does not want to risk disqualification.



I'll bet this young stud thought Pro Wrestling was all about the fame, worshipping fans, money and power.  Now he learns that there is a painful price if you want to climb in the ring with veteran superstars like Ric Flair.



Shelton bravely refuses to go down like a punk. He struggles to flip onto his belly and reverse the pain onto Flair.

He did it!  He is escaping Flair's unbeatable hold by reversing it!  Meanwhile, on the other side of big Batista, Triple-H sneaks into the ring.

Triple-H beats Shelton down with a boot to the spine to rescue Flair.  Why does one team have to follow the rules, while the other team can cheat whenever they feel like it??





Flair was sure a nice guy to job for fat old Dusty Rhodes.  Here Flair allows Dusty to slap on the dreaded Figure 4, a hold both men seem to love.





Bret Hart always claimed he was the Best There Is, Was, or Ever Will Be, but Flair shows us the truth with this painful Figure 4.  Flair started his career long before Bret and is still kicking ass in the ring, but where is Bret?




Flair was friends with Randy Orton, taking the hot rookie under his wing.  After Randy got too cocky, Flair decided to teach him some respect with a nice Figure 4.
