Tag Team Trash Talk, 3 of 3

When Rock Hard Wrestling offers up a Tag Team match, I don’t even hesitate.  My finger just automatically clicks on Download.  They do such a good job with their Tag Team matches — it’s the ring psychology and the displays of suffering that get me every time, but it’s all the trash talk really flips my trigger.

The most recent offering, Bad Boy Beatdown, features cocky Ethan and Aaron (you may recall I blogged about their previous match) against two muscle men, Brodie and Josh.  This match is all about the spectacular power of Brodie the Bodybuilder.  He intimidates Ethan and Aaron with some pre-match flexing.

Brodie very easily dominates cute little Aaron, who always suffers beautifully.  Aaron’s humiliation is increased by the insults and name-calling imposed by his larger opponents.

All the captions under these photos are direct quotes I heard during the match, or are taken from the hot match description posted on the Rock Hard webpage.

I suspect the wrestlers from Rock Hard (or their director) must read my Blog, because this match sure offers up plenty of the sort of action I mentioned in my previous article dedicated to Rock Hard’s tag team artistry.  For example, I had mentioned my love of dirty Double-Teaming, and Josh and Brodie deliver by cheating continuously (thanks, boys!)  Again and again, one of them holds back poor Aaron’s arms so the other can kick and punch his exposed belly.  OOFF!   Also, helpless Aaron provides a heaping helping of Oscar-worthy expressions of agony and pain that I mentioned I enjoy.  He delivers an encore presentation of the suffering I had previously described as follows:

“This rookie Aaron Travers is just a work of art.  He is so darn cute and suffers so pathetically, he just breaks your heart and makes you want to cuddle him.  He’s like a baby seal getting clubbed — poor lil seal!”

The under-dogs also get in some Double-Teaming of their own, such as the sweet two-against-one Boston Crab (see below), but most of the match (and most of this article) focuses on the helplessness and humiliation of the little Bad Boys.

Josh & Brodie dominate Aaron easily — he really doesn’t stand a chance.  He barely fights back, allowing them to scoop him up and slam him at will, then drop legs and elbows on his body.

The bigger guys begin to talk negatively about Aaron like he doesn’t even matter.  At one point, Brodie says to Ethan: “You better change your partner.  He’s just getting his ass kicked all day long.”  Josh, the mop-headed “beach-bitch” (as the bad boys call him), secures an arm-wrenching Surfboard and forces Aaron to grit his white teeth and toss his head around.  Meanwhile, Ethan watches his partner’s agony from their corner and, with growing frustration in his voice, tells him to “Dig deep.  Don’t tap!  Don’t give up.”   But the pain is too much for Aaron and he is forced to say Uncle.  Josh and Brodie win the first round and flex their muscles over Aaron’s broken body.

So in Round Two, it’s Ethan’s turn to get out-muscled and destroyed (as Aaron screams at him to dig deep and fight back).  Brodie tortures Ethan in the Full Nelson Stretcher just as he had done earlier to Aaron.  Then he applies a tight Body-Scissor, and you can tell from Ethan’s grunts and groans that he is truly being crushed.  Each of Brodie’s legs is about as thick as Ethan’s whole body!   It is obvious that Brodie could have squeezed a submission out of Ethan (or knocked him out) if he really wanted to.

Usually in a Best-of-Three match, when one team wins the first fall, you can be certain the other team will win the second fall.  However, this match is about the destruction of the cocky Bad Boys and the unbeatable power of Brodie.  He stretches Ethan out in a Hangman while his partner chops and punches the bad boy’s exposed gut.  Ethan soon must surrender, just as his partner Aaron had done earlier.  The muscle-gods win this one-sided match in two straight falls!  How humiliating!

So if you enjoy matches where the video quality is excellent, there is tons of cruel double-teaming, the wrestlers wear revealing gear, and they mouth off arrogantly insulting each other (and their own partners), then you should probably download the video and enjoy it.

A tag team match with no referee is a nonsense match. This is my opinion.
