SLT: Trunk Adjustment

Yesterday’s featured match where Drew Gulak had a hell of a time keeping his two pairs of trunks where they belong reminded me of a “Subtle Little Thing” that many wrestling fans say they enjoy seeing during a match — when the wrestler adjusts his trunks by hitching up the waistband, or stretching the fabric down to fully cover both ass cheeks, or tugging down the pouch to give his nuts a little more breathing room.

This is another one of those simple, basic gestures a wrestler performs in the ring, probably without even thinking about it, that can send pro wrestling lovers into a dizzying frenzy when they see it.

C.M. Punk wears the tightest of trunks which he must often pull out of his crack

Is Punk flirting with us by doing that, or just covering up an exposed cheek??

With perky little trunks like those, we question why WWE would allow Punk to resign.

It is not easy to snap a photo of a wrestler in that brief moment when he is quickly realigning his trunks.  This is why most of the images today are animations (not created by me) so you can see him in the act of adjusting himself.  The fact that various wrestling lovers took the time to create these animations reveals how common, and how appealing, the trunk adjustment move is to wrestling fans.

Here are a couple of quotes I received from my readers when I asked for examples of the subtle little things that turn them on to wrestling:

“I love it when a heel adjusts his trunks and then goes back to beating on the jobber.”

“It also drives me crazy when a wrestler ties his drawstring while in the ring and tucks them inside his trunks. And when a guy adjusts the waist band on his trunks.”

Matt Striker is known for his tight little trunks, and for the wedgies they cause.

Yanking them down over your bulge lets the audience know you’re a Real Man

Wrestling trunks can be uncomfortable to wear, forever riding up, cutting off circulation, and exposing the wrestlers’ most intimate body parts.  The fact that they wear these tight little briefs anyway, that they put up with the discomfort for our viewing pleasure (pulling and stretching where possible) makes wrestlers and wrestling even more appealing.

Love this post! Would love to see a post dedicated to front trunk pulls, preferably from wrestlers from WWE or other companies. Pulling the trunk and going for a gut punch….a joy to observe

Yes! This is a “subtle little thing” that I have totally been meaning to write in about. That third gif of CM Punk in the black trunks is absolutely hypnotic. Thank you also for reminding me of the hotness that is Matt Striker in trunks. Damn I miss that ass!
