Last week I posted a couple galleries (see Thrill of Victory and Agony of Defeat) featuring one of my favorite pro wrestling scenarios: a Tag Team partner watching the action from outside the ropes.
I’ve noted that many of the great pro wrestling cartoonists also like to depict this scene in their drawings, honing in on the eroticism and voyeurism at play in this situation.
Here the artist Matt drew a muscular bull trying to rip the arm off of his helpless jobber-in-white, while the bull’s arrogant young partner enjoys the action in the far corner. Clearly the Watching Partner is really enjoying what he sees!
This image is from a wrestling cartoon I paid an artist to draw back in 2006. One of the evil Bail Jumpers hugs Apollo as the other Bail Jumper talks trash.
If you like this drawing, I think my 28-image cartoon is still out there available for download for $10. The other images are in a similar style as this image with the same two-on-one cheating vibe and commentary.
I am honestly not one of those Furry lovers — not that there’s anything wrong with that, it’s just not my kink. However, when a Furry image references pro wrestling, with big massive hounds in pro-style gear with bulging trunks and big stomping boots, then I’m all in. Here, one doggie rests his boot on the bottom rope (yet another of my hot buttons) while his partner squeezes their small victim.
And then there is the great Bazotter. As one of the most skilled artists to ever sketch a Body Scissor, his images portray the eroticism, horniness, and arousal inherent in the sport.
It’s not exactly clear which wrestler in the ring is partnered with the eager gent in the background, reaching desperately for a tag. What is clear is that the gent in the background wants in that fuckin ring, and he wants in that fuckin ring NOW. He doesn’t want to miss out on the rough, raunchy good time the other two men are enjoying.
Here is a spectacular looking older wrestler wearing a striped singlet (Bazotter is genius at dressing his wrestlers in unusual but surprisingly sexy ring-gear). The DILF is torturing some goateed jobber, bending him up and yanking back his arms, while two other wrestlers watch keenly from the far corner.
This masterpiece really captures the greedy voyeurism of watching pro wrestling, the enjoyment of the spectacle, the pleasure of filling your eyes all you want with the images of a helpless man’s predicament. The punishing Alpha Male just holds his victim there on display, patient and deliberate, giving his two buddies (and everyone else in the arena) plenty of time to savor the suffering and take in a big enjoyable eyeful.
