Back in Part 3 of our ongoing saga of Pierroth and Vampiro — as presented in a Mexican wrestling comic book — the two wrestlers agreed to form a Tag Team partnership (i.e., a male-male relationship) while claiming to hate each other. The following day, the news of them becoming “friends” spreads like wildfire. The newspaper even prints a special edition, as if a Royal Wedding has taken place!
The men on the street are clearly excited by this news, ogling the article and photos with leering grins on their faces as they fantasize about the males involved. They are all very worked up about the big Tag Team match between the now-joined partners and the hated “Explosives.”
Rejected by the ladies, it is Pierroth’s turn to feel sexually inferior to his rival/partner. When he orders the women to give him a massage, they emasculate him by dumping him onto the dirty floor.
The women are now saving their affection for the new Big Swinging Dick, the younger and prettier Vampiro. Now Pierroth experiences the shame of being desperate and dateless — the shame he unleashed on Vampiro in Part 3 of the story.
Both women focus their attention on Vampiro with Pierroth now in the degrading role of horny, neglected voyeur.
The ladies cuddle up to Vampiro’s rockhard body, pawing at his chest. Vampiro arrogantly offers one of his bitches to the masked man, but Pierroth prefers to massage himself (a thinly veiled reference to masturbation.) Their roles reversed, Pierroth is now presented as the jack-off.
Meanwhile the all-male crowd is on fire, excited to witness their heroes in action. One man with his shirt parted open to expose his muscular chest reaches longingly toward the ring, his arm stretched out like a classical painting that depicts desire and lust.
The villains are in the ring, a pair of big ugly brutes with massive legs and bulging trunks.
The crowd jeers them without mercy, one buff dude in a green shirt shaking a fist at them as a threat.
When Pierroth enters the arena, all the men smile adoringly at him and his new bride, I mean partner.
The theme of this chapter has been all about the excitement and enthusiasm exhibited by the common men observing the two wrestlers’ budding relationship, their vicarious thrill at the male bond formed between Vampiro and Pierroth. Also we’ve seen evidence of the fickle cruelty and rejection of the females in the story. The reader’s take-away is that an affectionate male-male relationship is to be treasured and envied, and that any man should be thrilled to be coupled with a spectacular male like a pro wrestler. As usual in pro wrestling, the Male-Male pairing is presented as the ideal relationship.
Stay tuned wrestling fans — I promise they will actually get in the ring and start wrestling in the next chapter…
