Someone recently posted this slutty image of Seth Rollins showing us the full length and girth of his tongue. Is this meant to imply he will further abuse his helpless opponent with that muscle later?
In the context of the pro wrestling ring, where nearly naked men are in close physical contact, the act of displaying the tongue is clearly meant as a sexual gesture to titillate the audience.
This image of Eli Everfly that I recently posted shows him stirring up the audience before his match. With his face painted white and his long tongue protruding down past his chin, he seems to be channeling Gene Simmons of KISS fame, whose tongue became the stuff of legends. I probably would not have downloaded and posted this image if it weren’t for that sexy tongue show.
Pro wrestlers employ many tools to sexualize their performances, from showing off their bulges, to grinding their hips erotically while posing over an opponent, to placing their victims in compromising positions. The display of a naughty tongue at key points during a match is just another trick for getting us turned on and eager to watch more wrestling.
Here is Cesaro in the dominant position laying on a less-awesome specimen of manhood. Cesaro opens wide, giving the camera a peek at that threatening tongue. His raunchy gesture is aimed directly at us the viewers, practically inviting us to get in the ring and get kinky with him.
Here is Ted DiBiase Jr standing around shirtless and wetting his lips. Somebody besides me must have thought this was a hot look so they created this animated GIF. I wonder if this image would have been created and posted if it weren’t for that sexy tongue slipping out to lick those parted lips? Ted has a boner-worthy body, don’t get me wrong, but that lip lick put it over the edge.
