So Whose Ring Is It??

A couple weeks ago, my fellow wrestling blogger Jose from the La Sustancia P website wrote a tremendous review of this recent release from Can Am Wrestling.  The match, dubbed “I’ll Make You Suffer 6,” features Jimmy Jacobs (applying the dreaded Curb Stomp above) wrestling Kharn Alexander in the shiny speedo.  Jose’s write-up was so inspiring, I had no choice but to go order the video, and I’m glad I did!

“I’ll Make You Suffer 6” features excellent, brutal wrestling by two talented studs and the raunchiest, most colorful trash talk I’ve ever heard in a match. I lost count of the “F” words in the first couple minutes as the angry, foul-mouthed enemies talk about how they’re going to “F” each other and every body part under assault (including the “cock”) as they inflict their agonizing moves.  Jimmy actually bites poor Kharn, as Jose mentioned, and even their acting skills are good.

But I didn’t want to be a copy-cat and just repeat the comments and images Jose had already posted on his blog, so I decided to review another match recently released on the Can-Am website called “Destroyed: 2 on 1 Destruction.”

This video is also a winner, and also includes Kharn (this time in a dominant role and a pair of banana yellow trunks).  Kharn and his pal Maverick in the green are breaking in an uppity rookie named Nick, whose long hair is just begging to be pulled (which Kharn and Mav can’t resist.)

I am such a sucker for two-against-one beatings that I would’ve enjoyed this match even if the competitors were fat old trolls.  But dress these buff hunks in skimpy, colorful trunks and I’m swooning even before the punishment starts.

Like a traditional Old School Jobber, Nick was already waiting in the ring when his opponents arrived.  They told him to get the hell out of their ring (I guess so they could wrassle with each other), but Nick refuses, claiming it as his ring.

He had to realize his big mouth and cocky swagger would result in a painful beating, but maybe after seeing his stunning opponents, that was exactly what he was itching for.

Nick is soon reduced to a whimpering, moaning wrestle-toy, flat on the mat kicking his boots in pain and frustration. Meanwhile, the two bullies stand over him flexing their abs, casually discussing how to hurt him next.  They hold a competition to see who has the most painful Backbreaker, with Nick reduced to nothing more than a play-thing they pass back and forth between them.

Occasionally they yank their exhausted victim’s face up from the mat with a handful of hair and ask: “NOW whose ring is this??”  But Nick refuses to suck their dicks, instead continuing to insist: “This is MY ring” — which only inspires more punishment.

If you are hoping for a match where the out-numbered dude suddenly finds the strength to overpower both of his tormentors, this is not that.  This is a pure Veteran-Studs-Teach-Cocky-Young-Rookie-A-Lesson scenario.  They stomp his stomach and balls, drag him by the hair, step on his neck, and put him in classic double-holds like the Boston Camel and Figure Eight.

They pause to ask him: “How does that feel, huh?” as if they give a shit.  Then they tell him: “We don’t like your long hair and your stupid face.”  Aww, that’s mean.

The bodies are incredibly buff, the skimpy gear choices are spot on, the video quality is excellent, and the double-teaming maneuvers are hot.

The competitors are well-trained at positioning their bodies toward the camera so we can get a great view of everything we want to see.  This really is a top notch production.  I continue to be amazed (and thankful) for the high volume of great material currently being produced for our viewing pleasure.
