Allies No More

I continue to enjoy the weekly episodes of Championship Wrestling From Hollywood that I am able to access on the Patreon website that I registered for.

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I subscribed to the “United Wrestling Network” at a rate (at that time) of $2 per month through Patreon.  My monthly donation enables me to stream each weekly CWFH episode.  They show us some good old rasslin’ on these episodes — well worth the 5o cents per episode or whatever I’m paying, and hopefully my meager contribution is helping to support Indy wrestling.

Sasha wants to snap that arm!

One of my favorite entertainers from the CWFH federation is the hairy Russian Heel — Sasha Darevko.  Damn, his tight purple briefs are causing my eyes to pop out.  When I last blogged about my Sasha, he and the beefy, long-haired Che Cabrera were friends and partners.  But they’ve had a falling out and began feuding.  Sasha even brought a metal chain to the ring to use as a potential weapon on his former ally.  Here he drives repeated Elbow Smashes into Che’s upper arm.

We only hurt the ones we love.  As with most Tag Team break-ups, the two former partners can’t just part company and peacefully go their separate ways.  Instead, one of the partners (Darevko in this case) must turn ugly and spiteful, brutally punishing his former partner (Cabrera in this case) in revenge for hurting his heart.  Tag Team break-ups are usually messy, passionate, and competitive to contrast with the feelings of loyalty and compassion they experienced during the good times when they were bonded.

A big Russian boot to the jaw stuns Cabrera.

Cabrera portrays the big, floppy Face, vulnerable to all of heartless Darevko’s  vicious attacks.  He is OK with the subservient role.  His beefy physique looks fantastic as he sprawls around in his little gray trunks, his long flowey hair whipping around like a lion’s mane.

I suppose now that Cuba is friendly with the USA again, and Russia continues to fuck with us, it makes sense that Cabrera has taken a Face-turn and Darevko continues to portray the brutal dickhead.

Darevko targets his victim’s arm for most of the match, repeatedly going back to this Look-At-My-Cock armbar position.  And Cabrera pulls out all the stops in his suffering, doing everything a Face In Peril is supposed to do to express his agony: kicking his feet, balling up his fists, and looking about ready to cry.

Darevko dominates for most of the match, the sadistic Russian Heel torturing his former political ally.

Here is a sweet choke hold where Darevko figure-fours his legs, his shin pressed against the Cuban’s Adam’s Apple.  By pulling the helpless victim’s head down, he inflicts maximum choke pressure.  That’s hot!  Now do you see why I dig Darevko ?!

Wow, what a DEVASTATING Curb Stomp!

But the tenacious Cuban fights back, trapping Darevko’s wrists and delivering a really brutal looking Curb Stomp.  OUCH!

A big, fat Frog Splash off the top rope.

Then the big man scales the ropes to Superfly his thick physique down onto Davevko’s ribs.  CRUSHED!   You can tell these former friends are locked in a bitter feud by the cruelty of their attacks, both passionately determined to prove that HE is the superior Alpha Male.  Each former partner is determined to inflict physical punishment on the man he trusted and now feels betrayed by.

Darevko can’t stand seeing his former partner having his arm raised in victory.  After all, Cabrera hails from a small province that had depended on the former Soviet Union for support and protection, and now he is dominant!?! So the humiliated Russian picks up his chain (in keeping with this week’s chain theme…) and strikes his enemy from behind.

The sadistic Russian encircles his victim's throat with the chain.

Get him Sasha — he thinks he is stronger than you!

Cabrera sells his strangulation, gasping for breath and reaching for his throat, his long hair all tangled up in the links of the chain.  I so enjoy brutal post-match attacks like this — not sure why, but I do.

Darevko gets revenge for the earlier Curb Stomp

Remember that sweet Curb Stomp that Cabrera employed to gain the advantage over Darevko? (Scroll up about five images to see it again.)   Well Darevko gets pay-back with this cruel Chain Choke Curb Stomp.

The inclusion of the chain, wrapped tightly around Cabrera’s throat about five times, makes this maneuver even more ruthless and over-whelming.  Surely those chain links tightened up when Darevko pushed down with his boot!  What a brutal (and beautiful) Heel!

Sasha then draped the helpless Cabrera over the top rope, using the choke-chain for leverage.  Standing back to back with his victim, Sasha crouches down to increase the pressure, his body-weight acting as a fulcrum.  That’s hot.
