In my recent article “Wolf Hunt”, I wrote about my enjoyment of Davey Richards’ humiliating destruction at the hands of two sadistic freaks known as “The Decay.” The promoters must have realized how hot and exciting this scenario is for the fans (maybe they read my blog), so they threw Davey back in the ring with these freaks for a “Hard Core War.”
Davey is bested every week now by the Monster Abyss.
The match was a bit chaotic — about 8 wrestlers were involved — a new one entering the fray every 3 minutes or something. Of course my eyes stayed focused (as this gallery will focus) consistently on my Wolf — hard-body Davey in his flamboyant patriotic tights.
Here we see the larger member of The Decay — the Monster Abyss — stunning Davey with a Choke Slam. Davey spent much of the match being strangled, whipped into metal obstacles, or hit across the back with various weaponry. My only disappointment was that the camera often cut away to focus on different parts of the 8-man War not involving Davey.
This “War” is considered “Hardcore” because each combatant may bring a weapon of his choice. However, instead of a machine gun or flamethrower, they only think to bring a chair, a kendo stick, a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, etc. In any case, these weapons are barely used at all except a few chairs.
It is also “Hardcore” because the Heels are able to double-team the good guys which I dig.
Davey is powerless to remove his metal chair necklace.
Another soldier who enlisted in this War is a big bearded daddy known as Bram. We know he must be a Heel because he helps The Decay punish and humiliate our beloved Davey.
Here he stuffs Davey’s head through the back of a chair like a yoke on an ox, then drives the base of the chair into the steel corner-post to ring Davey’s bell. How humiliating for Davey to have to job like this, yet he consents to it all the time!
Steve spews a load of goo in Davey's eyes.
Davey tries to get Hardcore by striking Crazzy Steve with his gold belt. But Steve is even nastier and dirtier — discharging a mouthful of sputum in Davey’s face to blind him.
This is actually the second time Steve has blown his disgusting bodily fluid in Davey’s face — it happened in the prior match I wrote about last week. Surely you’re not missing the sexual innuendo of this scenario…
Abyss uses Davey's own gold belt to finish him off.
Davey’s plan to use his belt as a weapon backfires as we see Abyss strike him in the face to knock him out cold. Why oh why would a normal nice guy like Davey agree to a Hardcore War against these sadistic animals who were clearly born to brutalize?!?
Taking ownership of the belt is a metaphor for masculinity and dominance as the belt changes hands and is used as the ultimate weapon (aka biggest dick.)
Crazzy Steve has the honors of covering the emasculated hero and stripping him of his gold belt (aka the symbol of his power and masculinity.)
I am digging this Crazzy Steve — I have no clue where he used to wrestle or his real name, does anybody know about him? You can tell he’d be a real looker if he’d wash off that creepy face-paint and grow his hair out more normal. But don’t get me wrong, he’s got mad sex appeal as the beastly, sadistic zombie, licking chairs and spewing mouthfuls of blinding mist all over his victims. I hope he and Davey now enter into a long mano a mano feud, abandoning their less sexy partners and focusing entirely on each other.
