A few days ago, I wrote about my enjoyment of the series of GIFs posted in two parts to the Squash Arena tumblr site. I mentioned how much I enjoyed seeing the muscular Firebreaker Chip in his red trunks being reduced to a useless, crawling jobber by Rick Rude.
I also speculated (and hoped) that there would be a Part 3 so we could witness the Ride Awakening and pinfall.
Sure enough, I was happy to see the Squash Arena blogger has posted a third series of images, copied here, to tell the rest of the story.
The point of the match is to sell Rick Rude as a strong, aggressive, dominant Heel Daddy, so Firebreaker Chip is at maximum subservience. He lets the wiry hotdog knee him in the belly, flip him onto his ass, then grip him about the head with those thick arms.
Here is how the blogger described this third round of Firebreaker Chip’s humiliation:
“And here’s how to break the Firebreaker. A devastating neck breaker takes the thick slab of useless meat out.”
The blogger adds to Chip’s degradation, joining in the emasculation of the bodybuilder, by calling him “useless meat.”
Then Rude puts the muscleman in his deadly “Rude Awakening” finishing move. The move is called an “Awakening,” but ironically, it puts the guy to sleep.
I wonder if the name of the move was meant to imply a psychological awakening for the victim — a new realization of his inferiority and acceptance of a submissive role when in Rude’s dominating presence.
Rude’s pinfalls were always works of art — he understood the opportunity the final pinfall created to put the viewers over the edge. The blogger takes this opportunity to again insert himself in Chip’s humiliation by referencing how easily Rude claims his victory:
“The heel does not even need to cover him much and just leisurely lay over the broken and out musclemeat.”
