Back in September 2013, I blogged about a match I had seen on ESPN Classic from the old Global Wrestling Federation. I greatly enjoyed GWF when it was originally televised in the early 90s.
ESPN Classic continues to broadcast GWF featuring the most amazing gear worn by some of the hottest wrestlers of the era, and I think I’ve seen every episode 6 or 8 times (but continue recording it just in case I missed any.)

I have been wondering why these shows are not being uploaded to YouTube for the enjoyment of future generations, or for anybody who can’t view ESPN Classic. So I was happy to recently learn that the YouTube channel Rassle Reel has begun posting these hot GWF broadcasts.
Last week, Rassle Reel uploaded an episode that originally aired in September 1991, and my eyes almost popped out of my head. The gear these studs wore is just great, as you will see below. All the images in this gallery and the next one I post (there was too much good stuff to fit in one posting) come from this one GWF episode.
The opening match features “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert (the GWF talent all have sexy nicknames too) in orange tights and white boots squashing young Reno Riggins, who is an absolute dreamboat. Riggins wears sexy black tights that look like shiny black leather, which you can see above when Gilbert pins the cute jobber while opening his crotch for a degrading display.

The second match is a Tag Team bout featuring John Tatum and Rod Price. Tatum is such a kinky pervert in his bright lavender trunks which clearly have no lining or underwear judging from the tent he is pitching.
He spends much of the match proudly pointing his big bulge in our general direction (and I am mesmerized), ensuring that we’re aware he is a well-endowed cocky Real Man in spite of his wearing of pink panties.
The opponents are Gary Young in blue and white gear with red stars, and Jeff Gaylord looking buff and beautiful in a tight red speedo and black boots.
Perhaps John Tatum and the other GWF veterans instructed Gaylord to spread his legs and display his ballsack for our inspection — a well-known tradition in GWF. Or perhaps the camera-man has a spandex fetish (a man after my own heart) and he keeps zooming in on Gaylord’s private parts, ensuring they remain not very private after all.
Tatum is not the prettiest in the ring, but he is definitely the sexiest.
Either he just took a shot to the balls, or he starting to bone up.
What an indecent, sleazy display by Tatum with that big hairy body and that little banana hammock. Is that gear legal to wear in public?
I think Gaylord elbowed big Tatum in the balls, but they’re probably difficult to avoid when they’re sticking out like that!
Are those made of silk? Or are they paper?
For the next match, curly blond-haired Billy Joe Travis bounces around in lime green trunks that are trying to disappear up his crack. The camera zooms in for a closer look and suddenly I need a cigarette. It sure is difficult to get through an entire episode of GWF in one sitting.
