The latest video release from Rock Hard Wrestling was posted a few days ago, and it’s a Tag Team match! Oh hell yes, Merry Christmas to me! I love when Rock Hard features Tag Team action — I love their frequent cheating, their locker-room trash talk, their ring psychology, and, oh yeah, their rockin’ bods.
And here we have four of the Best in the Biz — Zack Johnathan and Austin Cooper vs. Alex Waters and Ethan Andrews. Alex looks spectacular flashing his pre-match double bicep pose, but Austin in his little red boy shorts, beasts him into the background with a superior show of strength. Austin’s been working out and I love his swole look!
Alex’s hair gets messed up, and so does his body.
As with most Tag Team matches from Rock Hard Wrestling, the fellas take turns in the Helpless position, all four of them having the chance to suffer over the course of a half-hour match.
But for this article, I decided to focus on Alex Waters in the “Save Me” role because of his injured knee and other fun aspects of his performance.
Zack is developing into a convincing Heel with his flamboyant Elbow Smash.
Of all the possible pairings in this match, Alex has the best chemistry with Austin. You can just tell from seeing and hearing them that they love/hate each other. At one point, Alex is in the ring with Zack and mentions, “I actually want HIM” meaning Austin.
So Austin tags in and gives Alex the punishment he’s craving, including this crushing Body Scissor. Austin maintains his Leg Vise for a long while, leaning on one elbow like he’s relaxing on the rug in his Man Cave. (I love it when the confident boss leans on one elbow while scissoring.)
Both Alex and Austin are in awe of Austin’s strength.
Alex is the most shredded dude in this match, so it’s especially humiliating (and arousing) to see him being out-matched and humiliated. He obediently sells everything the opponents dish out, such as this Back Busting Power-Slam by Austin.
Even Alex’s partner, Ethan, out-shines him by faring better and kicking ass when he gets in the ring. This makes us love poor Alex even more.
But let’s not forget about Alex’s Injured Knee, highlighted by the very obvious black brace which his opponents notice and target like jackals.
This “Please Don’t Attack My Bandaged Limb” gimmick has a long tradition in pro wrestling — I love seeing Rock Hard going there! Their website says: “He goes after Alex’s bum knee and locks on a super tight, extremely painful figure four leg lock.“
Austin clamps his hands behind his head like a boss.
There is this hot verbal exchange while Alex is suffering:
Ethan [from the corner]: Reverse that! Come on!
Alex [breathless]: I can’t!
“He’s got it locked!”
Alex [whining]: He’s got it locked!
Austin [smiling toward Ethan]: I got it LOCKED. Ya hear that? ‘I got it locked!’
Beautiful. I’ve been replaying Alex’s helpless whimper: “He’s got it locked!” in my head for 2 days now.
Like every other Tag Team match that Rock Hard has issued, this one is a winner and I definitely recommend it for the $20 or whatever it cost me.
I only featured Alex’s suffering in this article but there is plenty more agony, nastiness, and dirty cheating by all four studs.
