My fellow blogger known as Humiliated Jobber or “HJ” writes the “Humiliation of a Wrestling Jobber” blog. He recently posted a great article about the Military Press maneuver and his obsession with the trunk-pulling variation:
“To see a helpless jobber in trunks, being held by his chin or his fucking throat, while the heel yanks the trunks above the helpless sissy’s ass, putting him on display for the entire crowd to see.”
Today I will recap HJ’s candid narrative and provide images of the Military Press move captured from the video links he provided. Also the captions under today’s images are quotes from his article.
After each video link, HJ wrote an explanation about why it excited him — the specific visual cues that tripped his trigger. These details helps us understand the appeal. I wasn’t a Military Wedgie lover before reading his blog, but his explanations of the arousing elements made sense, and I began to see it through his eyes, to grasp why a viewer would enjoy seeing this humiliating move.
For example, my first 3 images show jobber Brian Madden in white trunks being taint slammed. HJ points out a woman in a yellow shirt at the far right, clapping as the wimp is dumped like trash. Focusing on this laughing female references other common fetishes: Erotic Humiliation, Voyeurism, and Male Submission, and we get why one might feel aroused.
HJ’s next example of the Wedgie Press features Shane Douglas, also in white trunks. Again Bob Orton is the groping pervert (Cowboy Bob seems to be just as obsessed as HJ over this spandex-stretching hold.)
Again HJ points out a voyeur in the audience, the man standing in a white t-shirt, and imagines the man getting hard over this public degradation. There must be a hot button for public shaming in our brains which gives this move its sexual mojo.
Speaking of public shaming, earlier in his article, HJ provided an origin story that might explain his obsession with all things Trunk Yanky. When he was a boy, some adult family acquaintance — a bad-ass redneck thug — had lifted him by the seat of his pants and playfully swung him around while other family members witnessed his helplessness. He felt utterly shocked and humiliated.
Soon after that degrading incident, HJ developed this powerful “Trunk-Pulling During Pro Wrestling” addiction and never shook it off.
Now when he sees big Russian bears like Nikolai Volkov displaying some cute jobber’s white meat, a trigger pops in his brain and he both fears and craves receiving the same rough treatment.
HJ recalls: “I totally bought into the evil Russian thing with Nikolai. I had a genuine fear of this happening to me, in the same way other kids were scared of nuclear war because of The Day After.”
I too recall feeling afraid of certain manly Heels when I was too young to be watching pro wrestling, as if Mr. Wonderful was going to find me and Pile-Drive me (which strangely excited me.)
[NOTE: After I started writing this article, some of the great source videos provided by the blogger were deleted from YouTube. The excellent Brian Madden example (above) and this hot Sivi Afi slam have both vanished! Fortunately I had captured these few images first. They were posted to the superb Richard Land channel, which provided us with hours of hot classic wrestling, but has now tragically disappeared.]
If that seed of a shameful memory — of being held aloft and spun around by some bully — is still getting HJ worked up over Military Press Wedgies, it may help us understand our own wrestling fetishes. Maybe I had my hair pulled, or arm twisted, or was sat upon, and the traumatic, frustrating shame flipped on the Pro Wrestling Boner switch in my own brain.
I am starting to ramble, so let me stop here for today so you can take the time to go read HJ’s original article that inspired this write-up. I will continue tomorrow with my “Zapruder level analysis” of this ass-revealing Military Press move, the origins of our wrestling kinks, and related ramblings inspired by the “Humiliation of a Wrestling Jobber” blog.
To Be Continued…
Always great to see a bit of “trunk pulling”.
I recall seeing WCW and Dustin Rhodes (Golddust) had his opponent sat in the turnbuckle, as Rhodes approached him the downed wrestler pulled Rhodes’s waistband of his yelow trunks down, briefly but fully exposing him – quite a big lad too !
Thanks for the writeup and, like I mentioned to you, it’s an honor to be mentioned on the best wrestling site in the business!
Your words and pictures about my words got the old jobber juices flowing again. God bless jobbers, the heels who punished them and the crowds that ate it all up.
I can’t tell you how much I love this! Wedgies in wrestling have always been a huge turn on for me! Ever since your old post about trunk pulling in the past issues section I’ve been hoping you’d highlight some hot wedgies again! Thank you! It’s SO hot to see the emasculation!!!
