I recently saw this series of fantastic close-up photos on Social Media featuring Chris Masters (aka “Chris Adonis”) and knew I wanted to blog about the great photography, buff physiques, and sexually charged wrestling action. These images were re-posted all over the wrestling beat-off Tumblr sites so probably you have seen these if you subscribe to such sites on Tumblr.
At first I wasn’t sure who Masters’ hunky bearded opponent was. Then I zoomed in close on his wristband, and I saw it said “Lionhearts.”
I love the Lionhearts tag team! I blogged about them on 2/9/13, 6/3/15, and 10/5/16. I am glad to see these British Baby-Faces still in action (or at least Eddie Ryan, the cuter partner seen here — is still active in wrestling.)
Whoever snapped these photos really captured the brawn and violence in super-hi definition. We can see (and savor) every straining muscle, every pumped artery and sinew as the two men ravage each other.
The contrast in light and shadow emphasizes their naked torsos and massive legs, glistening in sweat and oil, which adds a sensual eroticism to the scene. It’s as if you’re accustomed to watching grainy old porno videos on VHS, then suddenly saw a well-produced hi-def scene on Blue Ray and can’t contain your excitement.
Eddie Ryan, the “English Lion,” has been a popular Face in Brit Pro since 2008. I don’t recall him ever looking this swole and powerful, so I think he’s been hitting the gym and it is working! (Though he isn’t up to Chris Masters’ level yet…) Ryan now enters the ring in a gladiator’s cape which is pretty damn sexy.
I googled this match and it took place in England at the Hawkinge Community Center on 10/29/16. I haven’t found the video of their epic battle — let us know if you know where we can watch that.
And then we see the glorious Master Lock (aka Full Nelson), which is Chris Masters’ unbeatable Finishing Hold. I get excited when he slaps it on because they sell it as so devastating and powerful. And it couldn’t happen to a prettier victim than the English Lion.
The final image in the series features the two glistening hunks in a passionate post-match embrace, dick-to-dick, their bearded faces just inches apart as they pant and sweat all over each other.

We see Ryan is holding the belt (while Adonis is holding HIM), so I suppose Ryan escaped the Master Lock? And went on to defeat Adonis?? It seems unlikely.
