After Masters totally destroyed Val Venis using his patented Master Lock (see last week’s gallery), the two rivals met on the 6/6/05 episode of RAW to settle their feud.
Venis is out for revenge, wasting no time before stunning the big swole stud with some cruel Skull Spiking all over the ring area.
We then witness the utter destruction of young Chris Masters as the veteran takes revenge for being humiliated the last time they met.
This transfer of power, this emasculation of the incredibly swole and strong young Masters, is what intrigued my reader who asked me to write up this match.
Val Venis was active in WWE from 1998 to 2009, so this 2005 match occurred in the latter half of his career when he had achieved Daddy Veteran status. He was a rockstar at this point, and Masters was challenging his Big Swinging Dick status.
Damn Venis looks good here as the dominant, goateed Heel, like the epitome of a bald, confident wrestle-villain from the 1930’s. His hard-ass vibe adds a lot of the sex appeal that made this match really work.
Speaking of sex appeal, then THIS happened! As if a painful beating is is not enough to satisfy the enraged Val Venis, he also wants to sexually degrade and embarrass his foe.
Masters crawls away like a cowardly pussy until he suddenly feels a draft.
Val’s wrestling style in general, and in this match in particular, is designed to seem like a rough banging to play off his persona as a porn star. He fights like he’s fucking — roughly.
For example, many of his attacks such as the Forearm Smash series in the corner (see above) and these Knee Lifts to the gut, are just a repetitive jack-hammer pounding, delivered over and over at a steady pace, just grinding away. The implication is that Venis is such a busy pornstar, that he gets laid so often, that this bed-spring squeaking rhythm is ingrained in his brain.
One (or more) of these stiff Knees must have legit connected because Masters ends up with a bloody lip. Nobody has been able to harm this Terminator in his career so far, probably in his entire privileged Alpha Male life. So this taste of blood really shocks and excites the Man-Beast — and every dude in the audience.
When Venis climbs the ropes to position his junk in Masters’ face, the big man has finally had enough.
He tosses Venis off the ropes to crash onto the back of his neck where he lays broken. The power dynamic just shifted back to where it belongs. Get him, Masters!
As in the last time they met, Masters dominates Venis with his patented Full Nelson. It’s like he has the porn-star’s number with this deadly finisher, using it when he wants for as long as he wants and Venis has zero defense against it.
He shakes the bitch around like a ragdoll, just like the last time.
Masters is depicted as an Unstoppable Force, putting this veteran out cold again.
The announcers scream excitedly to sell the danger and devastation of this hold:
“A dangerous move! Unlock your hands!”
“This Master Lock is a DANGEROUS maneuver!”
“Too much for Val Venis on this night!” Once again, the Big Valbowski comes up short. It seems as if this feud was meant to be a Dick Measuring Contest between the established but aging porn-star and the virile, ambitious young challenger to the throne. It’s hot to see the Big Valbowski repeatedly and consistently bested — no wonder my reader brought this classic story to my attention.
There’re some hot scene you should’ve put to make this article way hotter. When venis attacks masters from behind and slams masters’s head to ringstep.. Anyway thanks for reviewing. I’d like to recommend some hot matches later.
I’m glad Venis has a second chance to go at Masters. With those amazing physiques, they deserve another intimate rolling in the ring. And I just love Venis’s chops, so explosive and loud, accompanied by Masters’s howling. It feels like Venis’s spanking Masters for what he did last time, and the highlight for me is when Venis uses a fisherman suplex and then does a hip thrust. That’s how cocky he is! Unfortunately it’s a contest of dick measuring and stamina; whoever stays hard wins. And this time it’s Venis who goes limp first.
