Times Two

The most recent batch of videos from Muscleboy wrestling included this fantastic Three Way Match between a guy in yellow trunks, a guy in red trunks, and a guy in blue trunks.

Now the only sort of Three Way Match that I enjoy is when two of the guys gang up on the third guy and utterly decimate him. That’s exactly what happens in this match (and it’s exactly why I love this match) when Red Guy and Blue Guy work together to unfairly punish Yellow Guy.

There is a lot of boot work in this match — a lot of kicking and trampling. Definitely download this one if you’re into wrestling boots.

They also use some classic pro wrestling Double Team moves, like the old Stretch Armstrong where they try to pull their victim’s arms out of their sockets…

My fellow blogger from Ringside at Skull Island recently reviewed this match in his article “Divided by Two.” He provides several more animated GIFs of Yellow Guy’s punishment and defeat that I did not copy in this article, including:

1. Yellow Guy being brutally choked by Blue Guy in the corner
2. Double Banana Split with Yellow Guy’s legs pulled violently apart
3. Blue Guy trying to bust the jobber’s spine with a huge stomp to his lower back
4. Yellow Guy trapped in the corner and enduring a series of kicks to the gut
5. A stunning Double DDT that utterly ruins Yellow Guy

Ringside at Skull Island does a good job — certainly a better job than this blog — at explaining what happens in this video, including the Hope Spots where Yellow Guy fights back. We are told that “Joey turns the tables on the big bullies” and several GIFs depict the jobber escaping and taking control.

My blog is not as careful about sticking to reality. Instead, my blog focuses on aspects of a match that I enjoy — which in this case is the unfair, sleazy, totally predictable Double Team moves and Joey Yellow’s relentless turmoil and agony. I love it — I want to savor it and revel in it! So you won’t find images of Joey escaping or fighting back in this article. The cheaters hold one of those contests where they both execute the same move (in this case, a big Body Slam) to see whose move was more devastating. They’re using Joey’s body as their measuring stick.

Joey plays along gamely, raising his body off the mat after each slam to emphasize the pain and to provide us a view of that big bulge in his yellow banana-hammock.

In this article, the cheaters inflict a cruel Double Clothesline on their helpless opponent to stun him, and then Red Guy (who really caught my eye in this video) pins the jobber to win the match. I can neither confirm or deny that this is what really happens in the video — but it’s exactly how I wanted the match to end so I’m going with it.
