On last week’s episode of Impact Wrestling (formerly known as TNA), the viewers were treated to more punishment of rookie sensation Jesse Sorenson at the hands of Austin Aries and Kid Kash. First, let me be very clear — if you’re wondering if I’m getting tired of watching Sorenson getting repeatedly punished by these same two bullies, I am not. If anybody from Impact Wrestling is reading this, just know that I could watch Sorenson getting whipped just like this every day and twice on Sundays (which is known as “Suffering Sunday” around here, so go for it.)
Second, let me commend the bad guys — Kash and Aries — on their high-impact, brutal, sadistic manhandling of this rookie. We didn’t even have to wait 4 or 5 minutes before the punishment started — the heels went right to it like hungry dogs on a hunk of steak. They tossed Jesse around like a ragdoll, drilled him with countless knees and elbows, and even slapped him around. There is something to be said for raw violence — is it my fault if I like to see it once in a while?
I especially like the chemistry going on between Kid Kash and Jesse Sorenson. Kash is playing the proud veteran, perhaps on the downside of his career, forced to step aside for the likes of pretty-boy Sorenson in his flashy red briefs. Sorenson is a footballer from Texas and, as Kash has pointed out, hasn’t had to paid his dues in the Biz. Kash is like a local yokel in a college town — disrespected by the cocky college punks who plan to rule the world as soon as possible. He’s itching for a fight — to use his fists to get the respect he feels he deserves. But Sorenson has no intention of backing down either.
And finally, a word to young Sorenson. Just keep on doing what you’re doing and never back down. If these bullies try to intimidate you, get right in their faces. No matter how many times they pound you into a quivering mass of helpless muscle, just keep getting up and fighting back. Don’t let anybody tell you what to do, no matter how many times that results in prolonged torture and suffering.
Now Impact has SERIOUSLY got to start using Tony Nese, who was hired at the same time as Sorenson!
Sorenson´s doom, humilliation and anhilation is my happyness
