English and Africa, 2 of 2

Yesterday we saw Leo Kruger totally dominate and bully a weaker wrestler named Aiden English on the May 27th episode of Florida Championship Wrestling.  That one-sided beating was so satisfying to watch, the promoters decided to put these two in the ring again during the June 27th episode of WWE NXT.

Part of the reason Kruger reigns supreme as my favorite wrestler on WWE NXT this season is his animal magnetism.  He has lion’s blood in his veins.  He is from Africa and is meant to resemble a predator, ripping apart anything that moves on the safari.  He now wears an animal print sash into the ring, as if he just skinned a leopard and draped the pelt over his shoulder — the modern version of Tarzan.

The long hair (which starts in a pony tail but eventually breaks out free and wild), the sexy goatee, the big muscles, the cocky attitude — it all just works for Leo Kruger.  And don’t sell Aiden English short — he suffers beautifully, as pathetic and submissive as a human doormat.

Even though he had his ass kicked by Kruger on May 27th, he still accepts another match with the same bully on June 27th.  English had to realize he is no better at wrestling just a month later — that he was sure to suffer another humiliating beat down!  Yet English agreed to get in the ring anyway, swallowing his pride and self esteem.  This is precious — like an old-school jobber, willing to get punished each week for our entertainment.

I was just thinking: “I hope he uses that gorgeous Scissor Sleeper to dominate English once again!”   Sure enough, Kruger grasps the jobber’s skinny neck in his thick arms, lays back and locks his legs around the victim’s waist, and starts squeeeeezing away.  Leo Kruger, will you marry me?
