It’s time once again to post some images I’ve stumbled upon in the past few weeks of browsing that had me thinking: Damn, pro wrestling sure is a big turn-on!
I will never apologize for loving wrestling boots. I can’t help it if my eyes always want to stare at them. Don’t judge — the heart wants what it wants.
These images of Christian Thorn in sexy Scissor-domination over Lobo Gris are from a recent article on the always-excellent Ringside at Skull Island blog.
Thorn is already very attractive, but then they coat his hard body in glistening oil, and THEN he begins to flex and pose! It just feels overwhelming and somehow unfair. Like, how can I possibly resist lusting for him? How can I avoid becoming addicted to gay wrestling when it’s so irresistibly arousing?! How can I NOT purchase this video and every video with him in it?!
It’s feels unfair that the wrestlers can so easily manipulate and control my urges, my ever-horny brain, with their sexy play-acting. Yet here I am, utterly at their mercy. Here is my credit card — keep up the great work.
You probably know by now that Sleeper Holds are one of my favorite holds. There, the cat’s out of the bag, you now know another of my secret wrestling obsessions!
I like the victim’s facial expression as he fades away. I like the other guy’s facial expression as he clamps on the pressure. I like the positioning of the arms and hands, one hand gripping the bicep and the other hand planted on his head. I just like Sleepers!
When I was a teen, I found a book at our library called The Pictorial History of Pro Wrestling: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly. I see that it’s available on Amazon.
Anyway, it was loaded with photos of wrestlers in action (which was pure pornography to me — truly an embarrassment of riches in those days!). The reason I bring it up is that I recall seeing a photo of Ric Flair applying the Ab Stretch on somebody, maybe Steamboat, and being really astounded and enthralled by that image. I’m still thinking about it like 30+ years later!
The above image of Flair slapping on the Ab Stretch (which is not the image from the book) just reminded me of the pleasure and enjoyment that old book gave me. I was easily entertained back then…
I mean, when these attractive and fit men begin to hug and kiss in the ring, right before our eyes, their shirtless bodies in contact, their manly bulges barely contained in those tight spandex briefs, I mean how could you NOT get turned on?!? How could you NOT realize and admit that pro wrestling is as close as you can get to gay porn without actually fucking?!?
And let’s cap it off with this really beautiful and compelling photo — a work of art, actually — from the Golden Age that depicts all the tension, suspense, and emotion that the performers in the ring want to inspire in us when they wrestle:
I’m not exactly sure why I like looking at this photo but I do. It’s so sharply in focus and brightly lit. The victim (I think Adrian Adonis) looks so fearful of being Body Slammed. His partner looks so angry and anxious. And the Body-Slammer in white gear looks like a Greek statue Hero archetype — not sure who he is. It just captures perfectly a great moment from a classic match.
