Last month, I blogged about the recent match where Randy Orton had his ass kicked and his belt stripped by the modern Maharajah, Jinder Mahal. Whew — Randy’s humiliating defeat was exciting to witness. Well, Randy demanded a re-match at the Money in the Bank event on June 18th, which happened to be Father’s Day.
The match took place in St. Louis where Randy lives, so the audience was firmly in favor of their hometown boy against this swole foreign invader. Many of the local legends (Flair, Slaughter, Hennig) were at ringside along with Randy’s father — Cowboy Bob Orton. SURELY they would let Randy win his belt back at home, in front of his legendary father!
Happy Father’s Day, daddy!
Itching for revenge, Randy starts the match on fire. He tosses Jinder over the ringside fence, right at the feet of his proud father.
Here daddy, have this muscular, brown stud in your lap as my Father’s Day gift to you. Doesn’t he remind you of all those buff jobbers you used to decimate in the ring 40 years ago?
Randy’s leg is cruelly broken on a table.
But Jinder soon returns the favor, injuring Randy’s leg by dumping him knee-first onto the announcer’s table.
Oh good, I was waiting for them to get to the point where Randy is suffering in front of his concerned daddy while Jinder laughs and tortures him.
Lots of leg punishment ensues, and it was glorious. Jinder plays the dickhead bully perfectly, suddenly knowing 20 ways to destroy a leg. Randy is made to look pathetic and vulnerable, cringing in pain while Jinder twists and bends his legs in any contortion he wishes.
One of the announcers described Randy’s humiliation wonderfully:
“Randy doesn’t have ANY offense. He’s getting destroyed by Jinder Mahal. Jinder Mahal is destroying the 13-time world champion in his HOME TOWN, in front of his DAD, on Father’s Day!”
Oh yeah, talk dirty to me!
Like a puppet on a string, Randy is whipped into the ringside steps.
Randy plays the helpless Ragdoll as Jinder beasts him into the metal steps to destroy his shoulder.
This shoulder punishment reminds me of the last time Jinder beat Randy down a few weeks ago. It’s more fun this time knowing that Randy’s father is watching his son being tortured like a jobber in front of all of St. Louis.
Then Jinder Mahal makes me fall completely in love with him by putting Randy in a beautiful Figure 4 Leglock:
Jinder shouts “WHOOO! and ratchets up the pressure.
Oh hell yeah Jinder, bounce up and down and really snap that pretty-boy’s knee while Ric Flair watches you! Make Randy cry in front of his daddy!
When did Orton become such a jobber that he must eat Figure 4 Leglocks served up by the likes of Jinder Mahal? I don’t know when or why all the testosterone drained out of him, but I love seeing him degraded.
